The Harris Collection

‘The Harris Collection’, launched on the 30th of April 2021, was a small collection of original oil paintings made in response to a trip to the Isles of Lewis and Harris in December 2020. The paintings are meant to be little glimpses of my time on this magical island. Harris had some of the best winter weather, hikes to a hidden beach and unforgettable sunsets. By the time I crossed over to Harris, my mind had settled into the winter island isolation and painting these pieces has brought back that calm quietness and introspection. It was such a reflective time to be away in the van completely isolation after a year where everything had changed.
